In this half-day retreat designed especially for beginners, you will have the opportunity to enter deeply into meditation and mindfulness. It is a wonderful way to begin or rejuvenate a daily meditation practice.
Developing a meditation discipline is about answering the deep call of our hearts. In this retreat, you will learn how to develop a meditation practice that fits your lifestyle and personality.
The retreat will cover the basics of zazen, or Zen meditation. We will explore various sitting meditation postures (including sitting in a chair), as well as standing, walking and lying down meditation. We will include instruction, meditation and small group sharing circles.
