TRUTHFULNESS Most of us value honesty and think of ourselves as basically truthful people. This week our mindfulness task is to carefully observe our truthfulness and how it contributes to our happiness or discomfort. "White" lies, purposefully omitting information to get a result, flattery and silence are some ways we may cut corners on truthfulness. Do they contribute to our happiness and serenity? When we make an effort to be scrupulously truthful how does that effect our serenity and what issues arise?more
