Volunteering your time is a wonderful way to give back to Clouds in Water.

Special Volunteer Positions

We are in urgent need of the following volunteer positions.

Assistant Jikido
The Jikido and his/her assistant organizes work practice, and makes sure the physical space of the Zen Center is maintained. To offer your help as an Assistant Jikido contact Ino [at] cloudsinwater [dot] org.

Learn to be a Jisha or Doan
Help with morning liturgy. The Doan is responsible for leading the chants and acts as timekeeper during meditation at the Zen Center. The Jisha is the assistant during services. Contact the Ino for more information.

Art for Bulletin Boards
We welcome your creativity and seek help with the Bulletin Boards. Let Byakuren Judith Ragir know if you could assist with designing posters and announcements for the Bulletin Boards.

Recording and posting talks online
Online access to Zen Center talks is an important and popular service. Help make this possible by setting up the recording equipment and uploading the talks once they are complete. The process is simple and easy to learn. Contact Amy Horne.
