Our communities and country are facing the same question we've been struggling with for centuries: Can we create a truly multiracial democracy? Join us at Shiloh Temple on Saturday, September 21st as we are equipped and take action together in the face of rising White Christian Nationalism. We'll talk with Governor Walz's administration and top elected officials about how we make Minnesota the North Star of this country - a place where we all can thrive regardless of skin color, salary, or zip code. We'll also talk about the stakes of this election and receive concrete skills training on how to talk about it with friends and neighbors in a way that breathes hope and agency into people's feelings of anxiety and powerlessness.
It’s time for us to have clergy and members of our congregations come together to wrestle with these questions, take action together and take a public stand. We are kicking off this mission with our Building Multiracial Democracy, This Election & Beyond Event on Sept 21 where we envision 175 clergy and lay leaders from across Saint Paul and East Metro attending!
